25 Times Ellie Goulding Made Us Want to Get Moving

Whether she's boxing, running, or using battle ropes, the star (and our December cover girl!) is always inspiring us to work up a sweat

Not only are we obsessed with Ellie Goulding's music (we've pretty much had her album Delirium on constant replay since it dropped last month-haven't you?), but she's also one of our favorite stars to follow on Instagram-girl consistently serves up some serious #fitspiration. Goulding is a longtime lover of running-she's run five half marathons and she recently even partnered with Spotify to create the perfect running playlist, marrying her love of music with her passion for hitting the pavement. But the self-described workout fanatic is all about mixing up her exercise routines to keep things interesting and stay fit for the stage (BTW, she's on tour right now). Whether she's taking (or teaching!) a Barry's Bootcamp class, boxing with her trainer, giving a battle rope workout a whirl, or going on a hike with friends, Goulding is always down to share the highs and lows of her fit journey with her fans, and we love her for it! Another reason she motivates us? She's all about strong over skinny. "My goal always is to get stronger. If getting stronger means getting more toned and slimmer, so be it, as long as strength comes with it," she told us during her cover interview. "I'm happy with my figure. I've never intended or tried to be skinny. It's my not thing."
