"Bachelorette" Andi's Remaining Contestants
Andi Dorfman's Remaining Contestants
The latest season of The Bachelorette kicked off last night with Andi Dorfman meeting her 25 bachelors. The 27-year-old former Bachelor contestant (famous for her sassy exit from Juan Pablo's season) left her job as an assistant district attorney in Atlanta to find love and is obviously certain the love of her life is among the group of hopefuls. ("I could be engaged by summer. Crazy!" she marveled last night.)
Here are our favorite—and not so favorite—remaining contestants, based on the premiere (and just a few snap judgements from their bio pages).
Out of respect for his family and friends, deceased contestant Eric Hill is not included. The show paid tribute to Hill last night, and he will continue to be featured in upcoming episodes.
A social media marketer from California, Andrew is nice and good looking enough, albeit a little too eager to please. If he puts as much effort into wooing Andi as his budding bromance with fellow contestant Patrick, he should be around for a few more weeks.
Andi feels instantly connected and attracted to Nick, or at least his polka dot tie. His reaction to winning the "first impression rose" was pretty adorable (think nerdy kid being voted prom king). He also has 10 brothers and sisters, so we can't wait for this hometown date.
Carl is a firefighter with tattoos, so the anticipation is building to see what's under that short-sleeved hoodie. He also brought Andi some sort of really cute globe ornament thing. We're still figuring this guy out.
Opera singer Bradley seems like a real sweetheart who could break into tears at any moment. We hope Andi goes easy on him. If nothing else, we can expect some more singing in upcoming episodes.
Brett is a hairstylist with some weird mullet action that makes us uncomfortable, and his arrival gift to Andi was a stolen hotel lamp. We're distrustful already.
This farmer from Iowa is honestly just adorable. Unfortunately Andi's feigned excitement at his profession ("I love the outdoors!") doesn't seem promising.
Brian is a basketball coach from Pennsylvania and otherwise largely forgettable. He came across as a bit too timid for Andi's taste, so chances are he won't be around for long.
Personal trainer Cody wears his sports jacket with the collar popped. He pretended to push the "broken down" limo up the hill upon greeting Andi. Just no.
A preppy "pantsapreneur" from San Francisco, the main problem is that JJ seems more obsessed with showing off his ugly printed pants than getting into Andi's.
Craig is a tax accountant from Denver who comes across far less creepy in person than he does in this picture. A step in the right direction.
For some reason we don't fully understand, Andi thinks Marcus is the hottest thing she's ever laid eyes on. He's also Russian and Polish and sort of maybe speaks both languages, so naturally Andi is "intrigued." We expect to be seeing him on a one-on-one very soon.
Shockingly, this Boston accountant was very nervous to meet Andi. Dylan also loves playing Connect Four and drinking apple juice. We're really not sure what's going on here.
Even if she isn't romantically interested in Marquel, Andi will obviously be keeping him around because he knows how to bake. He also knows how to make a not-very-subtle black and white cookie joke. Let's just give the guy his own show now.
Besides being a pro-golfer, the only distinction as of yet is that he is the other Nick Andi doesn't like as much.
Patrick is a soccer player who Andi will probably end up hating just as much as Juan Pablo. He's also really into cars and thinks he and Andrew are somehow "on another level" than the other guys.
Ron is originally from Israel and Barbados, which is pretty cool. Otherwise, we still know very little about this beverage sales manager.
Wedding planner Tasos brings a love lock for Andi and teaches her French. We have a feeling he may not have too much in common with his housemates...
At this point, we're kind of just sick of the former pro-athletes (which we really didn't think was possible). Andi thinks Josh is totally her type, so following the Bachelor franchise formula, he most likely has some "hidden motive" or a girlfriend back home.
