Skinny Celeb: LeAnn Rimes

LeAnn Rimes looked fantastically fit at our October 2010 cover shoot but just 7 months later she looked much thinner while on vacation with new husband Eddie Cibrian. The slender songstress tweeted this picture followed by this message to concerned fans, “this is my body and I can promise you I'm a healthy girl. I'm just lean. Thx for your concern but no need to be."

Skinny Celeb: Crystal Renn

The plus-size model once applauded for her curvier body is now being criticized for not maintaining her fuller figure. In a recent interview with her modeling agency, Renn, who documented her struggles with anorexia in her memoir, "Hungry," explained her frustration with the industry. "I think that by placing a title on my head, which is 'plus-size,' and then the picture that these people have created in their mind about what plus-size actually is, I've basically failed you just with that. Because I couldn't possibly live up to that, and at this point in my life I would have to actually have another eating disorder to live up to that expectation."

Skinny Celeb: Jennifer Hudson

We love Jennifer Hudson’s commitment to healthy living and have followed her weight-loss success over the last few years. But, has the 29-year-old Weight Watchers spokeswoman taken it too far? According to her fiancé the answer is yes! Maybe it’s her upcoming nuptials to a fitness fanatic (her fiancé is WWE wrestler David Otunga) that have inspired her to shed pounds, but we hope Hudson doesn’t try to lose much more weight for her wedding!

Skinny Celeb: Candice Swanepoel

The Victoria's Secret model recently caused quite a weight-loss tizzy, after appearing at an event for the brand's new swimwear line looking decidedly less curvy than a few months ago. And although her skinnier frame raised concern among her fans and the media, she told People

magazine that she's "healthy and happy." But, during last fall's New York Fashion Week, the South African beauty did acknowledge her struggles, telling ABCNews.com: "My problem has been more putting the weight on and getting muscle on because it's been really busy. I've been traveling around like crazy. I get skinnier if I'm very busy."

Skinny Celeb: Kate Middleton

Like Princess Diana, the nearlywed has become the most-watched bride-to-be, with critics and fans alike analyzing her fashion, manners and, of course, her weight. During a visit to Northern Ireland, an admirer advised her "not to lose any more weight." Although Middleton hinted that her thinner figure was in preparation for the royal wedding, Buckingham Palace denies any intentional dieting and remains discreet on the matter given Prince William's mother's battles with bulimia.

Skinny Celeb: Megan Fox

Having been criticized for promoting an unhealthy vinegar detox diet and raising some eyebrows over her tiny physique in the recent Giorgio Armani ads, the brunette vixen has at least one ally on her side—her trainer Harley Pasternak. He told HollywoodLife.com that he does worry about Fox becoming too skinny, but says she has a fast metabolism, "so her training is all about body toning and sculpting... People thought 'Oh she must be anorexic' but she's far from that!"

Skinny Celeb: Lea Michele

Some Gleeks thought that the pressures of fame, Hollywood and the success of a hit show might have taken a toll on the actress, forcing her to drop major pounds. But Michele attributed her new figure, which appeared noticeably trimmer compared to the start of the season, to a change in her eating habits. "I'm a vegan," she told OK!

. "It makes me feel really good and bright."

Skinny Celeb: Angelina Jolie

Back in 2007, the actress and world's most famous mama addressed the weight-loss speculation, telling Grazia magazine that her skinner frame wasn't because of an eating disorder, but because of the recent death of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand. "I have always been lean and this year I lost my mother and I've gone through a lot," Jolie said. "I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that's trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year," she added.

Skinny Celeb: Tori Spelling

For years, the reality star, author and 90210 favorite has countered allegations of anorexia. In 2010, during an appearance on the Today show

, Spelling stated that she does not suffer from an eating disorder, when asked about her recent weight loss. Instead, she attributed it to a bout of swine flu as well as stomach pain, migraines and nerve problems.

Skinny Celeb: Sarah Jessica Parker

The Sex and the City powerhouse's sinewy shape came under scrutiny last year, after the mom of three revealed some seriously toned arms while doing the school run. The sighting drew questions about her extreme dieting and exercise routine. But back in 2008, the actress told People

magazine, "I eat everything. I'm just an eater. If it's free, I honestly eat everything."

Skinny Celeb: Rachel Zoe

The celebrity stylist is famous for her ah-mazing style and her petite, almost skeletal frame. She has even been accused of encouraging her Hollywood clients to drop pounds to fit into designer duds, which she denied. In an episode of her reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project, she opened up about her diminutive size and how it might affect her future pregnancy. "It's the only thing in my life that I'm afraid of," Zoe said. "I'm just trying to wrap my head around carrying a child in my stomach. Am I physically strong enough? I can't emotionally handle it if it doesn't work," she confessed. Thankfully, the new mother recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy with husband Rodger.

The singer, who gained 50 pounds while pregnant with her son Bronx, told E! Online

last year that she shed the extra padding with the help of her Reebok EasyTone shoes. "When I wanted to get back into shape, I worked out and these shoes are amazing because you can really feel them in your booty. But I also worked out and ate healthy." Some are speculating that she might have lost more than just the baby weight though.

Skinny Celeb: Katie Holmes

In 2009, the actress, who was starring in "All My Sons" on Broadway at the time, cited her busy work schedule as the reason for her slighter shape, saying: "My metabolism was in full gear the whole time. I lose weight fast when I'm working so hard. It doesn't matter how much I eat, I just get thin. It's not the worst problem in the world to have though is it?"

Skinny Celeb: Kate Bosworth

Following her breakup with Orlando Bloom, the already-thin starlet appeared even more gaunt, prompting rumors of anorexia. But Bosworth explained to Vogue

that her 12-pound loss was caused by the stress of dealing with a family illness, and that she sought the help of a nutritionist. "I was concerned for my health and my fans, the public. I would have said, Please don't look at this as the standard of some kind of beauty or health," the actress said.

Skinny Celeb: Bethenny Frankel

The Real Housewife of New York and SkinnyGirl creator returned to her svelte self after giving birth to daughter Bryn last May. Posing in a bikini for Life & Style

, Frankel shared her secret to dropping the extra pounds: "Taste everything, eat nothing." But that dieting method may have backfired. In December, the reality star tweeted, "Eating enchiladas at 'on the border' mex grill at 10am.need to gain weight. I look like magda from 'something about mary.'"

Skinny Celeb: Kristen Johnson

The actress' incredibly shrinking body shocked fans and elicited lots of eating-disorder speculation in 2006. But it was a ruptured ulcer and emergency stomach surgery, which ultimately affected her body's production of the hormone that triggers hunger, that lead to the rapid loss. Johnson admitted to People

magazine in 2009 that she was "way too thin," and has since worked to gain back the weight.

Skinny Celeb: Nicole Richie

Although she has sought medical treatment for her inability to gain weight, the celeb mom denies that she ever suffered from an eating disorder. In an interview with British Marie Claire

, she chastised the media for their coverage of her weight issues. "I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don't. It's extremely insulting and irresponsible," she said. Adding, "An eating disorder is serious and it's a disease. I don't think you can lightly say someone has a disease unless they are openly telling you that they do."

Skinny Celeb: Courtney Love

"I know I've got too skinny," declared the troubled rock star and yo-yo dieter to Grazia magazine in 2009. Love attributed her plummeting weight to stress. At the time, she was dealing with an investigation into her late husband Kurt Cobain's estate and with her own financial woes. But the musician pledged to pack on some pounds, per doctor's orders.

Skinny Celeb: Keira Knightley

Every red carpet turn for this waifish Brit fuels the "is-she-too-thin?" flames. But Knightley, along with her mother, Sharman Macdonald, dismiss the criticism. Coming to her defense, Macdonald credited genetics for her daughter's slender build. "She eats like a horse. I always want to apologize because she can eat anything that she wants and she does not put on weight."
