When it came to doing her own daring battle tricks for Twilight, Ashley Greene and the rest of the Twi-Hards—Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner—were reportedly all very ambitious.
The 25-year-old actress told NextMovie,"Our cast as a whole is pretty athletic. Everyone really wants to be able to do their own stunts. We all worked really hard to do as much as production would possibly allow us to do insurance-wise. A lot of what you see will actually be us doing it."
But Greene’s love of all things action doesn’t end with Twilight! The striking brunette recently dished to MTV about the stunts in her newest film, The Apparition.
“No wires, but lots of scenes requiring agility. I think I injured myself more on this film because of the intensity of the scenes. You get wrapped up and don’t realize how hard you’re pounding your hand or that you’ve hurt your ankle until the end of the scene."

From jumping off a bridge onto a moving truck to balancing on ultra-narrow ledges more than 12-stories high, Angelina Jolie just said no to a stunt double for her 2010 thriller, Salt.
Always up for a challenge, Jolie’s stunt capability—and acting—is extraordinary. Salt stunt coordinator Simon Crane told the LA Times, “She’s absolutely fearless when it comes to high places… you can use her confidence with heights to put her in all kinds of dicey situations and know that she’s going to be convincing to pull it off."
But if you think the courageous 37-year-old actress might hold back a bit because of her kids, think again! Jolie told Entertainment Weekly, "The funny thing about having children is that now I am twice as motivated to do a cool stunt because my kids will like it."

America’s sweetheart Cameron Diaz got down and dirty performing her own stunts alongside Tom Cruise in the 2010 action-packed flick, Knight and Day.
"I love training for fight sequences—it's a week of getting bruises, cuts, and sprains, but it's also a lot of fun," The Mirror quoted her as saying.
The 39-year-old actress was so good at rockin’ her stunts, director James Mangold suggested a possible career change! “I had two actors who are also incredibly gifted stunt people. Our stunt coordinators could tell you that Tom or Cameron could stop acting tomorrow and start a career as a stunt person."

According to Us Weekly, the brave beauty also worked heavily with the stunt crew, who taught her how to climb trees, scale rocks, and jump logs. Here’s to hoping the odds will be ever in her favor for the upcoming sequel!

According to People, Mariska Hargitay became a special victim of her own back in 2009 when she was hospitalized with a partially collapsed lung. Turns out the reason for her health problem was due to a decade of doing her own stunts on the hit NBC drama.
The stunning 48-year-old actress explained, "I've been doing my own stunts on the show for 10 years. I fell wrong, basically. I collapsed my lung doing a stunt."
Since the accident, Hargitay’s days of stunts are over, but she’ll always be a lifelong athlete at heart.

When she was hired for her breakout role in the 2011 action-thriller Haywire, Gina Carano wasn’t an actress by trade—she was a mixed martial arts fighter!
As a former contestant on NBC’s American Gladiators, it’s no surprise the fearless 30-year-old superstar displayed her MMA techniques in full force for the film. Even the veteran actors on set were more than impressed with her fight sequences and oh-so-dangerous stunt work.
At the film’s Hollywood premiere, Channing Tatum said of Carano, “There was only one jump that they wouldn’t let her do. She would have done it all. She just, can do things, that no one else can do."
Ewan McGregor added, “Like when she throws a few punches and alters her stance, she’s altering her stance like a fighter would. There’s something incredibly dangerous and powerful about her."

Moretz's costar Aaron Johnson told the NY Daily News, "She blew it straight out of the park. I've never even seen adults pull off anything like this." I don’t think we have, either!
