"The wrinkly skin might be there forever but who cares!!"

By Renee Cherry

Loose skin is a totally normal effect of pregnancy, and Emily Skye is treating it as such. In a recent Instagram, the influencer expressed that she's totally cool with having wrinkly skin on her abs.

"The wrinkly skin might be there forever but who cares!!" she captioned the selfie of her flexing. "Nobody's perfect and there's no point worrying about things you can't change. I just focus on being fit and healthy and being the best I can be! And hey I can definitely see some abs peeping through the wrinkles!"

Many commenters showed Skye love for posting the photo, writing messages like "Thank you for being real," and "Thank you for sharing this, I get so embarrassed of mine." (Next up: This Swedish Influencer Is the Dose of Reality Your Instagram Feed Needs)

Skye gave birth a little over a year ago, and she's kept it real both during her pregnancy and after. Right after giving birth, she admitted she was frustrated with her slow post-baby body progress and could "barely recognize" her body. She's also opened up to her followers about her experience with the post-baby blues.

Last month, she posted an Instagram about dealing with bloating, joking that she looked pregnant again. "It's crazy how different your body can look from one day to another! Some days I'm really lean with visible abs, no bloating or fluid retention and other days I can barely see my abs and my belly is blown up like a balloon!" she wrote in the post.

Skye is nothing if not consistent in doling out real talk. Along with writing about moments of body acceptance like her "wrinkly skin" pic, she also shares moments of frustration, and we're obsessed with all of it.

Short workouts of around 21 minutes can give you all the weight loss benefits of longer workouts without the negative side effects. Long workouts increase the levels of the stress hormone cortisol in your body, which actually force your body to go into “protection mode” and makes it store fat. These unique bodyweight exercises will give you all the weight loss you desire https://bit.ly/bodyweightburnnow

I have always been what most would consider a “big girl”. In January 2018, I weighed 180 lbs, which is quite overweight for a woman my height. I wasn’t always this weight though. In my teenage years, I weighed only 140 pounds and I felt much healthier and happier. I strived desperately over the years to get back to this weight. But with a stressful and busy work life, I struggled... continue here https://bit.ly/mydietplantoday
