These Fit Celebs Rocked the Red Carpet at the Oscars
Body Team 12
tackled the topic of workers with one of the most dangerous and gruesome jobs in the world: collecting the dead from the streets of the Ebola zone. For bringing the issue to light, we only see it fitting that those over-the-shoulder pleats give her faux angel wings.
Naomi Watts may not be a nominee—she was at the Oscars to support her husband, Liev Schreiber (whose film Spotlight was nominated for six different awards including Best Picture)—but we think she should win an award for being the fittest 47-year-old on the red carpet. We have serious arm-envy over those toned guns.
We love how this chic gown—by new designer Elizabeth Kennedy—hugs Mindy Kaling's curves perfectly. (And we know she works hard to stay in shape, even when it's not the most glamorous thing.) She appeared at the Academy Awards to support her movie Inside Out, which was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film.
Quantico star Priyanka slayed in a sheer white, body-hugging gown on the red carpet. The perfect accessory? Her toned arms and hourglass curves.
Rooney Mara's romantic gown blended a conservative, high neckline with a center slit and peek-a-book abs and open back panels—perfect for her 1950s-era movie Carol, which scored her a nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. While there were a number of abs poking out through deep-V cut dresses, Mara's cut out added unique flair and showed off her sculpted midsection (while totally keeping it Academy-classy).
Rachel McAdams—nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role as a reported in Spotlight— was one of the only celebs to show a little leg on the Academy Awards red carpet this year. She rocked a high-slit emerald green gown that made us want to ask, "what's your leg workout?"
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend may be the most adorable soon-to-be parents ever. And as far as expecting mom bods go, Teigen is rocking that baby bump like no one else. She posted an "#Oscars belly" photo on Instagram shortly before hitting the red carpet of seamstresses sewing her into her red beaded dress. (The only things that looked better than her on the red carpet? The food pics she posts on the reg.)
Of all the deep Vs on the red carpet, Charlize Theron took home the prize for our favorite; she accented her glowing skin and flat abs with a gorgeous pendant. It's only fitting that she glam it up after having to get grungy for her role in Oscar-nominated Mad Max: Fury Road.
Brie Larson, nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Room, stunned in her dark blue gown and blinged belt. You'd never guess this gorgeous, fit actress posts so many funny food pics (think: drooling over donuts) on Instagram.
