Her Dancing with the Stars weight-loss success story has been so inspirational that this season's DWTS contestant Ricki Lake has made it no secret that "she wants to pull a Kirstie Alley" when it comes to shrinking her waist while on the show.

After serving as the spokesmodel for Jenny Craig for three years, Alley hung up her bathing suit and began putting back on the pounds that she had cut with the weight-loss program. The actress told People magazine that she tipped the scales in 2009, weighing in at 230 pounds.

In the spring of 2010, Alley turned to the dance floor to help shed the weight she had gained back. As the runner-up on the 12th season of Dancing with the Stars, the actress told CBS News that she had lost 60 pounds before the show and then an additional 30 pounds as a contestant.

The actress debuted her new reality series, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life that followed Alley as she tried to lose weight (again) and promote her new organic diet.

After dropping a total of 100 pounds, it seems Alley is finally winning her weight-loss battle. The now 60-year-old actress debuted her svelte new body on the catwalk in September during the Spring 2012 New York Fashion Week.
Next on her plate: finding a man to help her celebrate her truly impressive feat. “What I’m looking for is to be madly, deeply in love,” Alley told People magazine. “For the first time in my life, I know exactly what I want in a man,” she says. “I want someone who has my back who is courageous and brave.”
