Anna Victoria Apologized to Her Followers for Making Her Fit Body App Workouts So Hard
"You're not the only one who's dying. I am too."
Anna Victoria built an Instagram empire thanks in part to her killer Fit Body Guide (FBG) workouts. These workout plans may be easy to follow, but they definitely aren't easy to do-and both are reasons why they've been so effective for the thousands of women who've shared their transformations on Instagram.
What might surprise you, though, is that even Victoria struggles to get through the circuits she designed for the FBG. In a super-relatable Instagram Story rant, the trainer apologized to her followers for making her workouts so damn difficult-in a good way, of course.(Related: Anna Victoria Wants You to Know That Lifting Weights Doesn't Make You Less Feminine)
"Girls, I just want to take a minute to apologize to any of you that are doing the Fit Body App, because I was clearly on a mission to kill you on your workouts," she said in a video of herself.
"I just about died doing Sculpt," she continued. FYI, Sculpt is an FBG program that focuses on heavy-lifting gym workouts. (Lifting still seem scary to you? You can try this workout from Victoria's Shred FBG program, which is all about high-intensity bodyweight workouts. But also, don't be scared away from lifting weights. Victoria went on to say that a tough workout shouldn't deter you from believing in yourself. If anything, pushing to the point of failure means that you're giving it your all. "Know that you're not alone," she said. "You're not the only one dying, I am too. But you can do it. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you."
Victoria's moment of realness is a reminder to her followers that trainers do indeed complete their own workouts and are right there with you, earning that sweat equity. And regardless of how fit you are, notall workouts are a cakewalk. Victoria's own experience is proof that no fitness journey is linear, and that everyone is bound to have ups and downs. In her own words: "Just because it's hard doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong-it means you're doing it right. That's how you're going to get progress. So go slay your workout today if you haven't already."
