Scroll through Britney Spears' Instagram and you'll quickly realize that she likes variety in her workouts. From handstand walks to biceps curls, girl is always switching it up—and blessing us with workout videos in the process. In a recent Instagram, she shared one of her most eclectic workout montages yet.
"Had a couple of weeks off... ha!! Well, not really... been keeping my body strong and motivating myself everyday!! There's nothing like mommy and workout time, the beautiful outdoors, and flipping into gear," she captioned the video. During those "weeks off," she did a combo of yoga, weight training, and gymnastics. And by "flipping into gear," she meant flipping quite literally.
Her latest video just confirms what we already knew. Britney does not stick to one workout. (In the past she even blessed us with a dedicated post-Cheesecake Factory treadmill workout.) Not only does she switch up her dedicated workouts, but she also seems to be constantly on the move when she's not in the gym. In the past she's shared photos and videos of herself horseback riding, shooting hoops, twirling on the beach, and performing on stage (which should count as the ultimate workout in anyone's book).
If you find often find yourself in a workout rut (especially in the dog days of summer), it might be time to follow Brit's lead and switch things up. After all, there's no rule that says you need to commit to one workout program—and there are plenty of benefits of trying it all. Tag along with that friend who's always trying the latest workout class, or try going for a run outside if you're usually one to stick to the treadmill. Even if you don't have Spears' crazy skills (or impressive smoky eye makeup), you may just discover you're more multitalented than you give yourself credit for.
