Jessica Alba and Her 11-Year-Old Daughter Took a 6 A.M. Cycling Class Together
Talk about mother-daughter #goals.
The Honest Company founder took to her Instagram Stories yesterday to share that her 11-year-old daughter, Honor, joined her for her morning workout and totally killed it. "We went to spin class today," Honor is heard saying to the camera. "You crushed it," Alba chimed in.
In her Instagram Story, Alba told her daughter she's "so proud" of her, especially since they woke up early AF to attend a 6 a.m. class."Your fitness is on point," Alba told her daughter. (Inspired? Here are more celebrities who make fitness a family affair.)
Alba has always been open about her love for fitness—but she's also been honest about the fact that sometimes, she just doesn't feel like working out.
"[That's] why I love taking classes," she previously told us. "Because I'm surrounded by other people and that keeps me motivated and accountable."
But working out isn't the only form of self-care the mother-daughter-duo enjoy as a team. They go to therapy together sometimes, too. At Her Campus Media's annual Her Conference in Los Angeles earlier this year, Alba said she wanted to "learn to be a better mother" to Honor and "communicate better with her."
"I didn't grow up in an environment where you talked about this stuff, and it was just like shut it down and keep it moving," Alba shared at the conference. "So I find a lot of inspiration just in talking to my kids."
Based on the way they bond with each other, it's safe to say Honor finds just as much inspiration in her mom, too.
