You're Going to Love to Hate Teyana Taylor's Workout

It's been two days since the MTV Video Music Awards aired and everyone is still talking about Teyana Taylor's incredible body (complete with those rock hard six-pack abs) that graced Kanye West's "Fade" video. She channels the '80s classic Flashdance with her awesome dance moves in nothing but a tiny thong, sports bra, and knee pads. The new mom (she gave birth to daughter Imanin in late 2015) has a body that you'd surely think was the result of hours a day spent killing it at the gym.

Well, you're not going to like what the 25-year-old actually does to stay in shape—not a whole lot. "I do the lazy workouts," she told VLAD TV in 2014. "Even squats hurt for me. I ain't gonna front." As for those abs? "I was 6 years old with a six pack." Ahh, genetics.

But even when Taylor's trying to tone up, she admits her workouts are not that intense. "I would be lying if I told you I had hardcore workouts, because I really, really don't. But I do a lot of squats—a lot of stuff like that. The elliptical is my baby because you can just be on there, go like this all day for hours, just have on your headphones. That's it," Taylor told Enstars in 2014. "Just keep the booty right, you know what I'm saying? Other than that, I wouldn't know how to tell you how to work out."

Alright, alright. Taylor is clearly #blessed. But truth be told, we wouldn't trade that burst of energy we get from a crazy-hard HIIT workout for easy abs any day (although we'd certainly sign up for both).
