A Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl being called fat? We couldn't believe it either. Stunning supermodel Chrissy Teigen recently recalled being fired by Forever 21 for being "fat" in a video interview for DuJour Magazine.

"Forever 21, they booked me directly when I was much younger. And I showed up on set, and they asked me if they could take a photo," the All of Me muse explained. "And they shoot that photo off to my agency, who then calls me as I'm sitting in the makeup chair. And they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said you are fat, and you need to come get your measurements taken.'"

Always hilariously candid and proud of her love of food, we can't help but adore Teigen. More than that, we love that she never let this incident trip her up. With a devoted Twitter following, a guest judge spot on Snack Off, and multiple magazine covers, her career has taken off in spite of any criticism she received. In a time where we are constantly scrutinized for our looks, it's inspiring to see Teigen brush this off and prove that she is beautiful, inside and out. We should all take a page out of her book!
