How Paula Abdul Stays So Darn Fit
For those of you who believe that American Idol just hasn't been the same since Paula Abdul left, good news: Paula Abdul has joined the line-up for The X-Factor USA! Abdul will be reunited with Simon Cowell for the show and will also join former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger on the judging panel. Although the new signing competition won't begin until fall, we wanted to share some fun fitness facts about Abdul that you may not know. After all, you have to be in good shape to endure those long signing auditions - and put up with Simon!
While obviously Paula Abdul is best known for her dance skills and uses dance as a key way to keep her heart healthy and her body toned (even producing a few of her own dance DVDs!), did you know that Abdul also does Tae Bo? Yep, along with that she keeps a healthy diet and enjoys everything in moderation. This balanced healthy lifestyle is especially important to Abdul after undergoing treatment in 1994 for bulimia. Nowadays it's all about portion control and eating plenty of fruits and vegetables!
