In Claire Olshan's opinion, everything in life should bring a dose of pretty and joy, from your beauty routine to the snacks you eat.

"I don't believe you can have it all, but I do believe you can have happiness no matter what you do," she says. "Every minute of every day is a choice, and that choice is yours."

This outlook has spurred Olshan to make some bold moves: She built her ideal fashion house-a New York City boutique of her curated luxury style picks called Fivestory-and created an artfully designed health-food snack line called Dada Daily.

"I'm very aesthetically minded," says Olshan. "I thought, Why can't we elevate snacks and make them beautiful? So that was my goal." And they had to be packed with superfoods to make the self-professed health nut proud. "Borrowing from the Dada art movement, which essentially stripped down the rules of the art world, I produced my line to be fun and free of restrictive eating rules. It's delicious and encourages you to relish life."

As a nod to surrealism, the packaging is out there and awesome-matcha-infused chocolates in eyeball shapes, almond butter Brussels sprouts, turmeric cabbage petals-all of which can be served in a head-shaped box, and all designed to be visually delightful.

Olshan also turns to her beauty routine for a hit of happiness: "I take just 10 minutes, but it's an indulgent, fulfilling 10 minutes," she says. "A beauty routine is a selfish, intimate experience we all deserve. Those moments are special and serene-I really relish them." (See: How to Turn Your Beauty Routine Into a Meditation)

Her Morning Ritual

After washing her face with water, she applies Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum (Buy It, $185,, a vitamin C serum, then Kosas Tinted Face Oil Foundation (Buy It, $42, and Color & Light Palette (Buy It, $34, "It's creamy and luxurious. I dab the colors on and I'm done."

The routine is simple, but it has an impact. "Suddenly, I feel different-confident, good, and pretty."
