The U.S. Women's National Team forward and World Cup champ takes our quiz to find out just how much she knows about healthy eating and fitness—see how she did!
You may know Christen Press as the U.S. Women's National Team forward who proved her talent to the world when she scored an epic goal in the opening game of the World Cup last year. (Check out how she fuels up for the field in our interview with Press on her game-changing diet strategy!)
Now, Press—who's one of the youngest players on the USWNT is training for the 2016 summer Olympic games in Rio—and kicking butt in the team's recent international matches. Thanks in part to Press' quick speed and scoring talent, USWNT defeated Columbia again last week, giving them an 11-0-0 record in 2016. The ladies have scored 42 goals and allowed only one! Press' goal in the last match also marked the 33rd of her career, moving her up to the 16th spot on the USWNT all-time scoring list—pretty impressive for the age of 27. (You might not be an Olympic athlete, but you can train like one with this Kickass Athlete- and Celebrity-Approved Strength-Building Workout.)
We caught up with Press in our studio to get to know the soccer star a little better (Watch our Q&A with her first, and you'll see why we're girl-crushing.) and test her fitness knowledge in a speed-round IQ quiz on everything from the history of soccer (Do you know where it originated?) to how to get a six-pack (Do crunches actually work or what?). Check out how well (or not) she did and see her in action on the road to Rio when The U.S. Women's National Team takes on Japan in a rematch of the sold-out 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Final game this June!
