The newest injectible isn't for your face, it's for your food!

It's not a usually a good thing when a celebrity gets caught with a needle full of an unknown substance. So when Anne Hathaway posted this picture on Instagram-captioned "this is how my health shot arrived at lunch. God bless you L.A."-we did a serious double take.

But thankfully the new mom then added "PS- this is a liquid shot that you drink. Not... anything else."

Okay, but what is it? What kind of food comes via giant syringe? Is this the latest take on the baby food diet? And why is Anne so excited about it?

A little digging shows the mystery green goo is a "syringe shot" made by Kreation Juicery. The shot is a super-concentrated dose of fresh fruits and veggies and comes in four "prescriptions": Immune+, Antidote, Emer-jui-c, and Beauty (the one Anne picked). According to the site, the juice syringes "flood the body's cells with vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that cleanse, heal, and nourish." While the packaging seems a little gimmicky, the ingredient list is a solid mix of greens, vitamins and minerals.

It definitely seems to be working for Anne as her baby Jon Rosebanks isn't even two months old and she already has enough energy to be back at work and looking fabulous while she's at it.
