Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak has just launched a new product, Sweetkick’s Sugar Control Mints (Buy It, $46 for a 1-month supply, sweetkick.com). For Pasternak, who holds a registered dietitian degree, the project was personal: “I grew up in a household with two brothers that had type one diabetes. Candy, chocolate and sweets in general were a forbidden fruit in my early childhood and quickly became a secret addiction for me,” he says. “After years of development and research, I finally designed a product and program to help with my uncontrollable struggles with sugar and more importantly, take back control.”
