Considering her seriously impressive resume, it's hard to believe that singer/beauty guru/activist/designer/icon Zendaya isn't even old enough to toast her achievements with a glass of bubbly. The 20-year-old has made a name for herself outside the music world with an arsenal of side projects and her never-ending stream of body positive messages (see her gorgeous anti-photoshopping Instagram for proof). Her latest project is one of her most impressive yet—a chic and affordable fashion line that's truly made for every body.
Last year the artist launched a shoe line dubbed Daya by Zendaya and this season she's expanding the label to include a super inclusive clothing line that comes in sizes 0-22. Spoiler alert: It is Major. Closet. Goals.
The collection, which you can nab online at dayabyzendaya.com, features seriously stylish items like blush pink silk bombers, military-inspired dresses, laid back anoraks, jumpsuits galore, and an impressive line of easy to pull off slip dresses.
"Sizing was a huge thing. I want my mom to be able to wear my clothes. I want my older sister to be able to wear my clothes. There are too many shapes and sizes in my family to say, oh, you can't wear that, though," Zendaya said in an interview with Allure. "I want everyone to feel included—like this is for them. I made sure in my e-commerce photos that there were thick girls in there. It should feel normal." (Zendaya isn't the only star who is designing for every "body." Earlier this year Ashley Graham debuted her SwimsuitsForAll collection for swimwear that flatters all body types.) The best part, aside from the fact that the collection is designed for a range of body types? All items ring in under $160. Now that's a message we can get our bodies and our wallets behind.
