Janelle Monáe Shuts Down Period Shamers with a Series of Epic Tweets

Janelle Monáe took to Twitter to make a very important statement about period shaming. "Menstrual Period Blood," she first wrote in a tweet, before adding, "#WomensHistoryMonth." While both posts collectively received thousands of likes and retweets, some Twitter users disagreed with Monáe's message. But rather than letting those hateful comments slide, Monáe (being the badass that she is) decided to quote their tweets and continued making her point.
