Proof you shouldn't give a *&^% what people say about your body.

Karlie Kloss is a serious source of fitspiration. From her badass moves (check out these stability skills!) to her killer athleisure style, you can't really beat her positive attitude about all things health and fitness. That's why it's such a bummer that even she-one of the most famous models in the world-gets body shamed. (Here, see how you can channel Karlie Kloss' workout vibes at the gym.)

During a Cannes Lions panel conversation, Kloss got real about the unrealistic body expectations of the fashion industry, plus the fact that supermodels aren't immune to them. "I was called both too fat and too thin by a casting agent on the same day," she shared, according to the New York Post. Um, what?! Another important thing she advocated for during the conversation? More size diversity in the fashion industry. Yes, please.

Luckily, the model seems pretty secure in the fact that people will always have opinions, but what matters most is how she feels on the inside. Instead of focusing on what other people think or even how she looks, Kloss explained that she's taken to focusing on her strength and fitness instead of being fixated on appearances. "I don't want to please anyone but myself," she said. Seems like a really healthy way to deal with the pressures of being in the public eye.

Even if you don't have your sights set on modeling, let her experience encourage you to ignore what haters have to say about your body. It's impossible to please everyone, so unless that person's your doctor, just keep focusing on you.
