Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Planning for Baby Number 4?
Rumor has it they're not quite done growing their family.
You'd think the Kardashian-Jenners had their hands full enough thanks to the addition of Kylie Jenner's baby Stormi Webster, Khloé Kardashian's first child True Thompson, and Kim Kardashian's Chicago West-all in one year. But a recent report by Us Weekly suggests that Kim and her husband Kanye West might be planning on baby number four.
Rumor has it that the couple has been saving an embryo from when they had Chicago and plan to use it sometime soon. If you haven't been ~keeping up~ with Kim's crazy fertility saga, the KKW beauty mogul chose to have her third child via gestational carrier after suffering from a pregnancy complication known as preeclampsia with both of her previous pregnancies. (FYI, it's the same condition that Beyoncé opened up about recently. Here's everything you need to know about preeclampsia, aka toxemia, which Beyonce also suffered from.)
The decision to hire a surrogate didn't come easy though. In fact, Kim was quite reluctant at first. "My bond with my kids is so strong. I think my biggest fear is that if I had a surrogate, would I love them the same? That's the main thing I keep thinking about," she said on KUWTK while talking about wanting to carry the child herself.
She even underwent a risky and painful procedure in an effort to repair a hole in her uterus that would have given her a chance at becoming pregnant again. Unfortunately, it failed, forcing Kim to get over her surrogacy hang-ups to make a third child possible. It's through that process that Kim and Kanye have one embryo left to use-and Us Weekly reports that it's a boy. (FYI, here are the crazy costs associated with going the surrogate route.)
While it might be exciting to watch the Kardashian-West clan grow, this is all just pure speculation and hasn't been confirmed by reps of any family members. But if we're to believe what Kim has said in the past, the fourth child will probably be her last. (P.S. here's how Kim got back to her pre-baby weight.)
"I don't think I could handle more than that," she told Elle in April. "My time is spread really thin. And I think it's important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids."
