Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Just Welcomed Their New Baby Boy
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians Star confirmed the news in a short-and-sweet tweet.
It's been a busy week for babies. On Monday, Meghan Markle gave birth to royal baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Shortly after, news broke that Amy Schumer had welcomed her firstborn son as well, whom she named Gene Attell Fischer.
"He's here and he's perfect!" Kardashian wrote in her tweet.
The 38-year-old reality star's tweet comes after several days of anticipation, as rumors have been swirling all week that Kardashian's surrogate was due at any moment. On Monday, Kardashian shared a screenshot of texts she'd gotten from Kanye, which read, "This is your life. Married with four kids, get people out of jail, cover of Vogue, go to church every week with your family. Dreams come true."
Fans immediately read into the "four kids" detail of the texts and assumed Kardashian's surrogate was either in labor or had already given birth. But Kim shut down that speculation real quick: "Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that's not true! It's Met Monday, I'm in NYC. I would be at the hospital lol," she tweeted. Then, on Thursday, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and six of Jenner's grandkids appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to reveal some big news. "Kim was supposed to be here," Kourtney began. "My mom doesn't even know this, but Kim's surrogate went into labor. She's at the hospital."
"What are we doing sitting here?! Come on Ellen, fire up the car," Jenner said.
Kim hasn't shared many details about her newborn just yet, though she did say he resembles her 1-year-old daughter Chicago West. "He's also Chicago's twin lol I'm sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her," she tweeted on Friday.
