What We Love Most About the Kylie Jenner Diet
It's not the cleanest diet of the Kardashian crew, but it has one big thing working in its favor
In a new blog post on her app, entitled, "My Sisters' Diets Are Cray," truth-teller Khloé Kardashian breaks down each of her sister's eating habits, with her always on-point commentary. "We all have such different eating habits that sometimes when we're trying to choose a restaurant I wonder if we're even related. LOL!" she writes, before diving into her scientific analysis.
First off, Kim. As most of the Internet knows, Kim follows the Atkins diet, which "involves cutting out all sugar and carbs but it allows meat and dairy," Khloé explains. (Clearly, it's working for her. Here's how Kim got back to her pre-baby weight. ) "I like sweets too much and also don't eat red meat or dairy so I'm saying hell no to this one!" Khloé concludes.
When it comes to Kendall, "She loves burgers and pizza and goes to In-N-Out all the time," making her Khlo's "go-to girl on cheat day!" (Can we please borrow that metabolism? Kthanks.)
As any KUWTK fan knows, Kourtney is perhaps the most health-conscious of the bunch, eating only organic food. Not to mention, "she has pretty much convinced herself that she is allergic to dairy and gluten too," Khloé says. "I always feel like I need to lock my pantry before she comes over so she doesn't yell at me for what's in it, LOL." (We had an R.D. weigh in on Kourt's pre- and post-workout here.)
Lastly, Kylie. "Kylie eats like a typical teenager but she's also super aware of what she puts in her body when it comes to fresh and organic foods. It's all about that moderation, boo!" And we have to say, the Kylie approach certainly seems to be the most sustainable.
Based on Kylie's Instagram, we can confirm that she seems to subscribe to balance, at least when it comes to her diet. Here's a photo of her eating healthy last week:
And another eating an onion ring! (Yes, she gets paid by Burger King but we like to think she actually eats it, too!)
See? Balance! While Kylie doesn't share a ton about her workouts like her sis Khloe (steal her obliques moves here) we do know from social media that she works out with her sisters frequently, and has the toned bod (and a Puma endorsement) to show for it. (For the record, we're not on board with the waist-training trend that Kylie supports.)
So Kylie Jenner may not subscribe to moderation in any other part of her life (see: recent 19th birthday), but she seems to have a leg up on her sisters in the (sane but healthy) diet category. And remember: Healthy eating works best when you can stick with a more balanced diet long-term.
