In case you needed a reminder, food babies aren't actually babies.

It's an unfortunate truth that women's bodies are constantly under scrutiny, and celebs are obviously under a particularly powerful microscope. The slightest curve in a starlet's stomach can lead to an eruption of pregnancy rumors. (Kylie Jenner has supposedly been feeling self-conscious about her pregnant body lately.) But this recent pregnancy rumor about Miley Cyrus could take the cake as the most absurd.

It started after the singer posted a Thanksgiving photo on Instagram, captioned "So close to b-day time! Stoked for a day full of Tofurkey & loved ones! Ain't it ironic? #VeganTurkeyBaby" (Enjoy your own healthy holiday foods with these vegan, gluten-free, and paleo holiday recipes.)

Despite Miley's obvious inclusion of the #VeganTurkeyBaby hashtag and that (duh!) people tend to bloat after a heavy Thanksgiving meal, the photo led to speculation about whether the star's hands-on-stomach pose meant that she's expecting. When Miley caught a whiff of the rumor she took to Twitter to clarify that she was drawing attention to a future food baby, not an actual growing human baby in her belly. She posted her photo with the headline "Miley Cyrus Pregnant?" and wrote "RUDE!!! Not pregnant just eating a sh*t ton of tufurkey."

Fingers crossed that next year Miley can look forward to eating all the Tofurkey her belly desires without any unwarranted commotion. (On a brighter note, Miley has a glittery Converse collab in the works that you're going to want to put on your Christmas list-if they're available by then.)
