Right at the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announcing that their pregnant, Pippa Middleton has reportedly given birth to her first child-and it's a boy! The Daily Mail's royal correspondent took to Twitter just hours ago to share the news.

"James and Pippa Matthews (Middleton) have had a baby boy," she shared "He was born Monday 15th October at 1.58pm, weighing 8lb and 9oz. Everyone is delighted and Mother and baby are doing well."

The news of Pippa going into labor broke yesterday after she was seen entering the same hospital her sister Kate Middleton gave birth to all of her children. The couple was carrying an overnight bag.

Pippa first announced her pregnancy in June, and began regularly contributing a column series for Waitrose Weekend, a British supermarket magazine, on working out while pregnant (which more and more women are doing btw.) "When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant, I realized I needed to adjust my normal 4-to-5-days-a-week routine and find a way of continuing my exercise safely throughout the three trimesters," she wrote at the time.

She also shared how she was able to continue working out, in part because she didn't suffer from morning sickness like her sister Kate. But after consulting with her doctor, she did stop running during pregnancy.

She did continue to lift weights focusing on exercises for her glutes, back, and pelvic floor plus inner thighs, and avoided any strenuous ab pull-ups. (And just FYI, it's normal to still look pregnant after giving birth.)

Pippa wrote for the column until the end of her pregnancy, discussing how she stayed true to her fitness regime. No word yet on what kind of effect her workouts had on her labor, but research has suggested regular activity during pregnancy can make labor and recovery easier.

A major congratulations to the happy couple! We're so excited for Prince George and Louis and Princess Charlotte to have a new BFF.
