"I never thought I'd see the day I'd leave my beautiful country bawling my eyes out."

Despite celebrities speaking out about the importance of loving yourself just as you are (some skip makeup to further their point), people continue to shame women for their appearance. Even Ruby Rose can't seem to catch a break.

The Pitch Perfect 3 actress took to Instagram to share her struggles with acne after being bullied for her skin. "Yeah it sucks...for me, I don't see how it's bothering so many others? But I'm a human. It happens. One side of my face is clear and the other is a mess," Rose wrote in a series of Instagram stories reposted by a fan account. "Dermatologist says it's from the bacteria from all the phone interviews I did for PP3 and a reaction to hotel pillowcases (which I already know)," she continued.

In another post she added: "This acne belongs to me, not them, and you are welcome to it," she wrote, adding that she was distraught after the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere in Australia. "I never thought I'd see the day I'd leave my beautiful country bawling my eyes out…when I was so excited to come home."

The star also clapped back when people made comments about her weight, accusing her of being anorexic. In another Instagram story, she noted how important it is to "know what an eating disorder is" and to "speak about them properly." Rose has been outspoken about her mental and physical well-being, reassuring her fans that she's happier and healthier than ever, regardless of what haters might say or think.

We're not sure who would make awful comments about someone's skin (um, everyone has had a pimple before), but we commend Rose for sharing her experience. We hope her candidness reassures everyone that breakouts are perfectly normal and nothing to be ashamed of.

People need to just worry about themselves. I get that what's put out on social media is open for discussion, but this mean girls/guys mentality is disgusting.

Thee people are just jealous!! They would kill to look like you , acne or not. Acne clears up, assholeness never does.
