Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott Recreated Iconic '500 Days of Summer' Scene On TikTok

There's no question that Zooey Deschanel and boyfriend Jonathan Scott are one of the most adorable couples around. First linked in 2019, the pair recently celebrated their two-year anniversary this past August. More recently, however, the two got playful on TikTok by recreating a scene from one of Deschanel's most beloved films, (500) Days of Summer.

For background, Deschanel starred in the 2009 rom-com with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. In the film, Gordon-Levitt's character Tom rides in an elevator wearing headphones beside Deschanel's Summer, who compliments his music choice. For Scott's take, however, he put a spin on Tom and Summer's conversation.

In the TikTok video recently shared on his page, Scott is also seen wearing headphones while in a mock elevator beside Deschanel. After Deschanel asks Scott, "What floor?" the Property Brothers star replies, "Oak, I think. Probably like a dark oak." Deschanel keeps the conversation going by stating, "cool floor," to which Scott responds, "I mean, as far as elevator floors are concerned, yeah, pretty durable." Scott then quipped in the clip's caption, "Yeah, sometimes I'm *mildly* socially awkward. #oblivious #500daysofsummer."

As of Thursday, Scott's video has been viewed over 1.4 million times on TikTok and has received an outpouring of love from fans. "And this is why you're our favorite Property Bro. #zooeyapproved," commented one follower while another shared, "I love this so much they seem so good together."

Earlier this summer, Deschanel had posted a separate (500) Days of Summer-inspired video to TikTok, in which she told her followers to duet the video by stepping into Tom's shoes. Based on the recent fan reaction to Scott's video, it appears that his clip is one of the most memorable yet. (
