Low-Fat Turkey Chili

This is a great dish for a busy schedule or if you don't feel like cooking, Kirsch says. He suggests preparing a big batch at the beginning of the week and then having it readily available for lunch or dinner the rest of the week. "The chili always tastes better the second time around," he says.
Guiltless Barbecue Burger

If you're looking for a healthier alternative to beef but can't quite kick your red-meat habit, Kirsch suggests trying buffalo instead. "Buffalo meat tastes just as delicious as red meat, but it comes much leaner," he says. "Because of its leanness, it also cooks more quickly."

This easy-to-make dish goes over well at parties, Kirsch says. It’s also great as a light meal served with broccoli.
