Charlotte Olympia, Queen of Cat Chic, Will Release An Activewear Line
The designer has teamed up with Bodyism to create a gym to street collection
Thanks to the latest designer activewear collab, you'll soon be able to channel your inner cat lady (or sex kitten, if that's your thing) at the gym.
Footwear and accessories designer Charlotte Olympia (the brand behind those adorable kitty-faced flats you've seen on It girls like Alexa Chung and Taylor Swift) has teamed up with Bodyism, an activewear and active lifestyle brand, to create a super chic cat-themed collection. (Does Being a Cat Lady Really Make You Crazy?)
The capsule collection will reportedly have 10 activewear pieces, two pairs of sneaks and an ultra-chic gym bag that features the same kitty face that made Charlotte Olympia's flats famous, according to Women's Wear Daily. We especially can't wait to get our hands on the matching leopard print leggings and sports bra or the made-for-lounging sweatshirt that looks almost too cute to break out for barre class. Either way, the collab is guaranteed to look just as glamorous at the gym as it looks chic on the street. (And at cat yoga, duh.)
The collection launches in May and will be available exclusively on Shopbop.com in the U.S. for the first month before rolling out to more retailers globally. But don't expect to snag your purrfect gym look on the cheap-prices range from $108 for a sports bra to $425 for the gym bag. (But we've got 10 Totally Legit Ways You Justifiy Those $95 Designer Leggings, sooo...)
Whether you rock the now-iconic kitty faced print to Sunday brunch or prowl to Pilates in your leopard leggings, you'll put an end to the stereotype that cat ladies aren't chic once and for all.
