Over the weekend, Grammy-nominated singer Demi Lovato teased that "something big" was coming our way. Little did we know that it had nothing to do with music. Turns out the pop sensation is teaming up with Kate Hudson's sportswear line, Fabletics, to debut a new collection in support of the United Nations' Girl Up initiative.

Demi recently took to Instagram to share the exciting news saying she's "so proud" to partner with a company that she believes has "always supported inclusiveness, to design activewear that will make you feel amazing inside and out!"
"Being active is a huge part of my life," continued Demi—who's known for spending four hours a day at the gym. "So it was important for me to create a line that's accessible, comfortable and fashionable while inspiring you to take care of your mind and body." The limited-edition capsule collection launches next week, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to SchoolCycle, an initiative that works with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to give girls bicycles, spare parts, and maintenance training to help them get to and from school safely.
"Demi embodies so many elements of the Fabletics brand in such a unique way," Hudson said in a press release. "She's a definitive voice for female empowerment and body positivity—especially for the younger generation—which is something we believe in very strongly at Fabletics."
Demi mirrored similar emotions and felt that the collaboration was the perfect way for her to blend her love for fashion and music with her passion for female empowerment. With vibrant colors and snazzy prints, her designs will have empowering messages based on her song lyrics, including "confident" and "unbroken."
"Being involved in the creative design process while being able to have a daily impact on young girls' lives around the world is so rewarding to me," Demi said in the same statement. "[It makes] this initiative very dear to my heart."
