Nike Just Revealed What Team USA Will Be Wearing When They Collect Their Medals

Who could forget the time Monica Puig won the first Olympic medal for Puerto Rico or when Simone Biles officially became the world's greatest gymnast in 2016? It's no doubt important for winners to look and feel their best while they're being celebrated for their hard work—and now we know just what Team USA athletes will be wearing for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Nike just announced their Medal Stand collection, which is what all Team USA medalists (both female and male) will be wearing during their ceremonies. The pieces have an awesome clean-cut, classic Americana—yet futuristic—vibe.

Each athlete will be equipped with a Gore-Tex waterproof shell, an insulated bomber jacket that zips into the shell, a pair of sleek DWR (durable water repellent) pants, insulated gaiter boots, and touch-screen-friendly gloves (podium selfies?!).

Each item is packed with patriotic details, like the American flag printed on the shell's phone pocket and ankle zips on the pants that reveal the letters "USA" when unzipped. Another pretty awesome feature: All the pieces are extremely warm and weatherproof, which makes sense considering that almost all of the medal ceremonies will be performed outside in temps well below freezing. The coolest thing about the collection is that it will actually be available for sale on Nike's website and at select retailers starting on January 15. That means you can snag some ultra-warm outerwear that will likely come in handy this winter—and represent Team USA at the same time.
