Ski season is officially here. Whether you're hitting the slopes or more about the après scene, you can look chicer than ever in the trendiest winter gear and athleisure get-ups courtesy of Rent the Runway—for a fraction of the price.

Today, the pioneer rental platform announced an expansion into the athleisure and ski apparel categories in partnership with twenty brands, from Aztech Mountain and Tory Sport to Perfect Moment. This is an exciting development considering how expensive ski gear can run and how bulky it is to store, especially if you only go once or twice a year. (You might want to invest in these super cute base layers for winter activities, though.)

Rent the Runway's new ski collection includes a range of functional, fashion-forward, and loungewear options so you can easily bring your style to the snow, including statement pieces like bold aprés ski sweaterstechnical ski pantsmountain-ready puffers and epic ski onesies that typically run $300+ for a much cheaper rental fee. Not only does this save you $$$, but the ease of having a mountain wardrobe shipped right to your mountain lodge or chalet before you hit the slopes and returned immediately (laundry is handled by the brand) buys you time and tons of suitcase space.

In addition to ski gear, the company is also expanding its athleisure offerings to include sweats, leggings, and light jackets from brands like Lululemon, P.E. Nation, Champion, and Terez. That said, these aren't meant for wearing to your high-intensity workouts. These pieces are meant to enable you to move through your everyday, on-the-go lifestyle (weekend activities, travel, etc.) with trendy, comfortable options—think: less performance wear and more fashionable athleisure.

All of the ski and athleisure items are available to rent via three subscription service options, including Unlimited, Update, and Reserve:

Unlimited runs for $159 a month and gives members nonstop access to a constantly rotating closet that starts with renting four items at a time. (Try it, $159/month,

Update, available with an $89 subscription, supplies four items or more for a one-time monthly delivery. (Try It, $89/month,

- Reserve service supplies 4- or 8-day rentals starting at $30, to keep your style on point no matter your budget. (Try It, $30+,
