See the Surf-Inspired Roxy x Pendleton Collaboration
Big news in beachwear: Surfing giant Roxy has teamed up with Pendleton for their latest collection of swimwear and accessories. The collaboration may seem a bit unexpected, given Pendleton's history as a woolen mills company, but here's a fun fact: their wool shirts were actually worn by surfers in the 1950s and '60s to keep warm in the chilly Pacific waters off California.
As a nod to both brands' histories, the items use a pattern from the Pendleton Library designed in 1991, the birth year of Roxy, and the designs draw inspiration from traditional Indian basketry and symbols from Native American culture. The collection, which is available now through the summer, includes bikinis, surf leggings, board shorts, bags, a wool beach blanket, apparel, and more. Wear a button-down boardshirt now to stave off winter chills, but get motivated for bikini season by the gorgeous patterns and cuts on the swimwear! (We love this Great Fitness Gear Built Just for Women too.)
