"I Met Eli Manning -- And He Told Me This Workout Secret"

Most Tuesday nights you'll find me watching LOST with takeout Thai. But this Tuesday I was in line behind Sean "Diddy" Combs-trying so hard to play it cool-at a launch party for Gatorade's new performance drink line, G Series Pro, which will be available exclusively at GNC starting May 1 (come back to shape.com for more on that). Inside the swanky loft in a TriBeCa apartment building (40 Renwick Street), athletes, models, and partygoers sipped "shots" of strawberry-flavored recovery shakes in place of champagne, and I spied New York Giants' quarterback Eli Manning running a foosball table. Miss an opportunity to chat with Eli? Never!

I remembered he and his wife Abby were college sweethearts, so I asked him if it was important to work out with her. "It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to spend time together," says the NFL star. "We'll take classes, like Spinning, and challenge each other. It's also cool because it's a different type of workout than I get during the season." Judging by the smiling pics of Eli and Abby I found with a Google search later that night (sorry to be a stalker, Eli!), this sweat-together tip works. In the cab home, I vowed to put it into action and ask my boyfriend to take a class at the gym with me (Kevin, if you're reading this, we're signed up for Sunday).
