Instagram is the mecca for all things fitspiration: From SUP yoga photos that'll make you want to float your flow, to running pictures that'll encourage you to log some miles, to healthy food porn that'll get you excited to get in the kitchen, your IG feed is a fit girl's dream come true. (Yes, there are legit ways to use Instagram to get fit.)
But it just got even better! Instagram launched a new "save" feature that lets you bookmark photos for later. That's right—no more sketchy screenshots or sending the posts to yourself as a DM. When you see something you like, just tap the little bookmark icon in the bottom right-hand corner. Hop over to your profile page, and you'll see the same icon next to your "tagged photos" tab on the right. Voilà! All your saved photos in one spot, and not a soul can see them except you. (P.S. Other people don't know when you save one of their photos, so feel free to save a million of your crush without feeling too creepy. He'll never know.)
Obv, this comes in handy all the time, whether you're keeping a compilation of cute puppy videos for when you need a pick-me-up or want to curate your next HIIT session with moves from your favorite Insta-famous trainers. (Here are a few trainer accounts to start following, stat.) The only thing that could be better would be if Instagram came up with a way to let you put them in collections. (Just imagine: one for leg day, one for arm day, one for cheat day eats, one for our fave workout wear... you get the picture.)
And it's perfect timing for Instagram to launch this new toy. With New Year's Day right around the corner, you can tailor your bookmarked posts to whatever your resolution may be, from getting more sleep to dropping 5 pounds to building strong muscles. Below, some ideas of what we'll be bookmarking to get you started. (Just make sure you're "liking" and not just scrolling—it's better for your mental health.)
Some leg-day moves to get your lower body burning:
Creative moves from our favorite niche trainers, like Lauren Boggi. (Try a full cheer cardio workout from her here.)
Yoga flows to follow along with.
Some strong-spiration from the one-and-only Ronda.
Or some ab moves to add as a finisher to our next core workout.
Rest day essentials, including the on-the-rise leisureé (a mix between athleisure and lingerie, aka your dream come true).
Some words of encouragement. (More motivation right here.)
And some words of self-love.
And some for when you just. can't. even.
Don't forget the healthy food porn.
And the not-so-healthy food porn (because, ~balance~).
