This plyo workout is not for the faint of heart—or legs.

Ready for a challenge? If you haven't tried a plyometric workout, you're in for a treat. Plyometric training (a.k.a. "jump training") consists of explosive exercises in which muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal of increasing speed and strength. Think: squat jumps, tuck jumps, burpees, etc. (If you're thinking, "those are hard!" you're right. But plyo moves are worth the burn: they're one of the top five highest calorie-burning exercises.) The best part about high-intensity workouts like plyometric training, though, is that they're crazy efficient and short on time. Power through this high-intensity workout from celebrity trainers Jenny Pacey and Wayne Gordon and you'll be done in 20 minutes flat.

How it works: Follow along with the trainers in the video below. You'll do 30 seconds of each warm-up move, then perform each exercise for 60 seconds. Don't skip the cool down; do each move for 30 seconds.

You'll need: Some space and a workout mat.
