My wedding is just two days away and instead of excitedly counting

down the hours, I'm thinking about how many more sets of lateral raises

and pulldowns I can squeeze in. My dress is strapless, so I've been

giving my upper body a lot of attention at the gym these past few

weeks. My favorite new move: A balancing curl and raise. I love that it

tones the front of my shoulders, my core, and my biceps at once.

To do it: Hold a 5-pound dumbbell in your left hand, arm extended in front of you and palm facing your thigh, and a 10-pound dumbbell in your right hand,

arm extended in front of you and palm facing away from you. Stand on a

balance disc with your feet hip-width apart. Raise your right arm to

shoulder height in front of you as you curl the weight in your right

hand to your shoulder. Lower and repeat. Do 12 reps, then switch sides.

Try it and let me know what you think!
