With the Tony Awards this Sunday, it's the perfect time time to survey Manhattan's musical landscape. This year's nominees include a wealth of new shows such as "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" and screen-to-stage adaptations of Rocky and Disney's Aladdin. Plus, Idina Menzel follows her star turn in Frozen with the lead role in "If/Then," a musical that reunites her with fellow RentalumniAnthony Rapp.

Highlights from each of these new productions appear in the playlist below. Additionally, you'll find old favorites from the 1960s-set show (and soon-to-be major motion picture) "Jersey Boys," the opening number from "The Book of Mormon," an uptempo R&B hit from "Motown: The Musical", and a crowdpleasing duet from "Kinky Boots."

If you're a casual Broadway fan, this playlist might provide a chance to delve a little deeper on your next trip to the gym. At the very least it'll help you decide for whom you're going to root during the Tony broadcast.
