Upgrade your workout playlist with these uptempo tracks!

The recurring theme in these playlists: Not all pop music is workout music. While the Top 40 charts are a great place to start looking for songs, most of the tracks are meant for clubbing. In other words, they're fast enough to get you on the dancefloor but not so fast that you'll be soaked in sweat straightaway.

Since breaking a sweat is what you want in the gym, faster songs are the way to go. This doesn't rule out pop hits entirely, it just means you'll have to look a little harder for the truly uptempo ones. Here are 10 examples from 135 BPM and up, including Kiss' signature song, an atypically fast rap cut from Ludacris, and a collaboration between Madonna, Nicki Minaj, and M.I.A.

I agree that running is not the best way to lose weight as when I started running my belly just came out and it was so embarrassing. Then, I started drinking Luke warm water every morning and that worked for me. I think controlling diet is much better than extreme workout or running...
