The emotional rollercoaster of watching the show is kind of like the physical challenge of pushing yourself through a super-intense workout.

You don't even need to watch NBC's This Is Us to know that it's a total tear-jerker. (The Twitter-sphere is so soaked in tears every Tuesday night that you basically have to wring it out.) The self-induced emotional torture of watching an hour-long episode is kind of like the physical torture of pushing yourself through a super intense workout. It pulls on your heartstrings the same way HIIT pushes up your heart rate. It induces uncontrollable sobbing the same way spin class causes uncontrollable sweating.

So, why not kill two birds with one stone and sweat while you sob?

That's where this genius tissue box workout-crafted by insanely fit Reebok athlete and trainer Chelsea Potter-comes in. Bang through these moves during the commercial breaks or during the show itself to distract yourself from the fact that an entirely fictional story about a not-real family is breaking your heart. (No tissues? Don't cry-you can just swap in these toilet paper workout moves instead.)

How it works: Do each move for 30 seconds then rest for 10 seconds before moving onto the next. Try to do 5 rounds total. Use said tissues to wipe up all ensuing sweat and tears.

Tissue Box V-up

Lie faceup on the floor with arms and legs outstretched, holding a tissue box between hands. Hinge at the hips to lift straight legs, arms, and torso off the floor, passing the tissue box from hands to feet over belly button. Lower hands and feet to hover off the ground, then v-up again to pass the tissue box back to hands and return to starting position.

Lateral Tissue Box Jump

Place a tissue box on the floor and stand to one side, feet parallel to the long side of the box. Jump laterally over the box, landing softly on the other side. Repeat in the opposite direction. Continue alternating.

Russian Twist with Box

Balance on tailbone with feet lifted and shins parallel to the floor, torso leaning back at a 45-degree angle. Hold a tissue box in both hands. Keeping hips square, rotate torso to the right to tap box to floor. Return to center, then repeat on the other side. Continue alternating.

180 Jump Squat Over Box

Stand with feet wider than hip-width apart and a tissue box between feet. Hinge at the hips and bend knees to squat, tapping tissue box with fingertips. Stand and jump, spinning 180 degrees to the right, landing softly facing the other direction, and immediately lowering into another squat. Repeat, spinning the opposite direction.

Tissue Box Mountain Climbers

Start in a high plank with a tissue box between hands. Draw left knee in toward chest and grab tissue box with right hand, tapping box to knee. Return to starting position, then repeat on the opposite side, grabbing box with left hand and tapping to right knee. Continue alternating, keeping hips stable.

Tissue Box Thruster

Stand with feet wider than hip-width apart, holding tissue box horizontally in hands at chest height. Squat, then stand and press tissue box directly overhead. Reverse motion to return to starting position.
