Every green smoothie you make is a chance to cherry-pick all the most nutritious foods and throw them together for the ultimate health drink. (Here are 17 smoothie ideas you haven't tried yet.) If you want a smoothie that really delivers on superfoods, check out this recipe from Danielle Walker, founder of Against All Grain and author of Celebrations. It has chia seeds, banana, almond butter, and plenty of spinach. (Another option: this rainbow superfood smoothie.)

This smoothie can boost your health on a few fronts. Spinach, for example, can improve your workout performance, make your skin *glow*, and promote healthy vision. Chia seeds and almond butter both have healthy fats and protein, so this smoothie will give you lasting energy, not an impending sugar crash. It may even help to guard you against getting sick, since pineapples have been linked to increased immunity. Sip on this green machine whenever you want to really do your body good.
