Make This Healthy Carbonated Drink to Break Your Soda Habit
You know soda is loaded with sweeteners and empty calories-but this soda from Mom's Sugar Solution by Laura Chalela Hoover is a serious exception. Not only is it naturally sugar-free, it's flavored with hibiscus tea, which is rich in antioxidants and has been linked to lowered blood pressure. (Related: 8 Health Benefits of Tea)
Hoover suggests subbing in passion fruit tea if you can't find hibiscus, but you can use this recipe as a blueprint for carbonating any tea. (Here are 10 more healthy soda swaps to play around with.) That means infinite possibilities the next time a soda craving strikes.
