Black ties are optional, but chocolate is a must.

Starbucks is going black-tie for the new year, launching three new "black and white" mocha beverages to help you ring in 2018 with style.

The first item is the Black and White Mocha, made with espresso, a mocha sauce, and a splash of steamed milk. The drink is topped with a line of "sparkly chocolate sequins to resemble a black tie," a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement.

They also launched the Black and White Hot Chocolate (mocha and steamed milk) and the Black and White Frappuccino (a blend of mocha flavors, coffee, milk, and ice).

It's worth noting that these new beverages pack quite a few calories (Frappuccinos, in general, are a high-calorie indulgence). Both the Black and White Frappuccino and the Black and White Mocha will set you back 430 calories, and the Black and White Hot Chocolate comes in at 440 calories. Not exactly drinks you want to order every morning. (Here are some helpful tips to lighten up your coffee order.)

Similar to Starbucks' other viral creations (like the Unicorn and Zombie Frappuccinos) the Black and White mocha beverages will only be available until the turn of the year (the first week of January, to be exact).
