Starbucks Just Released a Zombie Frappuccino Right In Time for Halloween
Get ready for Instagram feeds full of brains!
If you need a drink to go along with your creative Halloween outfit this year, Starbucks has got you covered. The coffee giant just debuted a spooky creation that's fittingly dubbed the Zombie Frappuccino.
Featuring green caramel apple, the festive new beverage has hints of dark mocha and pink whip, making it look like brains are floating on top of it. "Brains for dinner. Zombie Frappuccino for dessert," the brand describes the drink online.
While there's no shame in getting into Halloween spirit and indulging in some fun, it's important to note that the Zombie frapp does pack a calorie punch. You probably already knew that frappuccinos, in general, are a high-calorie indulgence-take this unicorn-themed frappuccino, for example. So it's no surprise that a grande Zombie Frappuccino has 430 calories, at least according to one photo posted online of a Starbucks sign. (This probably isn't a drink you'd order on the regular, but here are some helpful tips to lighten up your coffee order.)
The internet is already chatting about the neon-colored drink with people sharing their thoughts on social media. One person described the googlish experience, saying that "it bleeds while you stare at it."
Like most of Starbucks' unique recipes, the Zombie Frappuccino won't last for long. It's available at coffee shops in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from October 26 through Halloween.
