Starbucks Just Released a Tie-Dye Frappuccino But It's Only Available for a Few Days

Tie-dye is making a comeback, and Starbucks is getting in on the action. The company launched a striking new tie-dye Frappuccino in the U.S. and Canada today. (Related: The Complete Guide to Keto Starbucks Food and Drinks)
Just like the Mermaid, Zombie, and Crystal Ball Frappuccinos, the drink is completely over the top. Its blended tropical crème base has bright rainbow swirls, and it's topped with whipped cream dusted with rainbow powder. (Related: The Healthiest Things You'll Find On the Starbucks Menu)
Starbucks says that the food colorings in the drink contain turmeric, beet, and spirulina, but make no mistake, the drink is no health food. A Grande has 58 grams of sugar, more than twice the American Heart Association's recommended daily amount of sugar for women. It has 400 calories with 5 grams of protein and 0 grams of fiber.
As usual, Twitter had mixed reactions to the new drink. Some people are likening the drink to banana-flavored candy, some are pointing out that it's a total pain for baristas to make, and some are expressing dissatisfaction at how the drink looks IRL. Like the Unicorn Frappuccino of 2017, the Tie-Dye Frappuccino will only remain available for "a few days," according to Starbucks. So if you want to try a drink that resembles a shirt that you made at summer camp, you better make your way to an SB in the very near future.
