This smoothie combines fiber-rich quick rolled oats, a frozen banana, vanilla protein powder, and hemp hearts for a dose of omega fatty acids, along with your favorite oatmeal cookie flavors: cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Plus, this healthy oatmeal cookie smoothie is vegan and gluten-free and has no refined sugar. If you're feeling fancy, top the smoothie with a sprinkle of granola, handful of raisins, a few chopped pecans, and some extra cinnamon.
Oatmeal Cookie Smoothie
Ingredients
2/3 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
1/3 cup dry quick rolled oats
1/2 scoop (around 15g) plant-based vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon hemp hearts
1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling on top
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large handfuls of ice
Your favorite granola, raisins and pecan pieces to sprinkle on top, optional
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except the toppings in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass, sprinkle on your toppings, and enjoy!
