Why eat a salad when you can have a smoothie bowl instead?

You can only eat so many baby carrots and raw spinach salads until you're just done with them. Cold, plain veggies can get boring, fast. (Looking at you, #saddesksalad.)

So how do you make them feel new (and delicious again)? Throw them in a blender, of course. Start with this epic Carrot Cake Smoothie Bowl recipe. It packs tons of nutritious veggies into a bowl but tastes like straight-up dessert. Here's how to make it: Blend up some chopped romaine (or spinach) and chopped carrots. Sweeten with pineapple, clementines (or mango), and vanilla extract. Make it creamy with some coconut milk and a banana, then make it a little savory with some cinnamon and nutmeg. Top it with whatever your heart desires, like pistachios and coconut for a sweet and nutty crunch. Voilà-you've got a super-nutritious one-dish meal that packs five whole servings of fruits and veggies, but it tastes like it came out of the oven.
