Kourtney Kardashian is committed to maintaining a clean diet, so she has plenty of healthy snack ideas up her sleeve. Most recently, she shared her favorite pre- and post-workout pudding recipe (more on what Kourtney Kardashian eats before and after a workout).

Before an a.m. workout, Kardashian likes to fuel up with either a shake, avocado pudding, or chia seed pudding, according to a recent post on her app. She shared a recipe for her go-to chia seed pudding, plus the toppings she rotates through: banana cinnamon, raspberry mint, and mango coconut.

Why try it? Chia seeds are filled with inflammation-reducing omega-3 fatty acids and filling fiber. Plus, bananas contain a mix of sugars that can fuel your workout; pumpkin seeds are high in magnesium, which is essential to muscle function; and cinnamon contains polyphenols, which research has suggested can help boost athletic performance.

Chia Seed Pudding

Makes: 4 servings

Prep time: 15 minutes



  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons agave syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds

Optional Toppings

  • 1 banana
  • 1 mango
  • Cinnamon
  • Raspberries
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Blueberries
  • Shredded coconut
  • Mint


  1. In a medium bowl, gently whisk the almond milk, agave syrup, and vanilla extract until just blended.

  2. Whisk in the chia seeds; let stand 30 minutes. Stir to distribute the seeds if they've settled. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  3. The next day, spoon the pudding into 4 bowls or glasses.

  4. Add desired toppings to each bowl and serve.
