Fall is hands-down the best season of them all. Think: warm lattes, fiery leaves, brisk breezes, and cozy sweaters. (Not to mention running actually becomes bearable again.) But the one not-so-wonderful thing that often comes with chillier temps? The common (and annoying) cold.

But you don't have to let a little head cold hold you back from frolicking in the freshly fallen leaves and downing spiked apple cider cocktails (or any of these drinks that were practically made for fall). Keep your immune system in tip-top shape and you'll be smiling-not sniffling-all autumn. Ward off nasty viruses and infections with these good-for-you ingredients: chia seeds, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, ginger, and plenty of ready-to-blend frozen fruits and veggies.
