This hot pink smoothie bowl is about to brighten your day-and your Instagram feed. The star ingredient is pitaya, also known as dragon fruit, which you can purchase in convenient "smoothie pack" form on Amazon. In addition to being beautiful, pitaya is also packed with antioxidants.

To make this smoothie bowl, combine the pitaya smoothie pack with frozen banana, hemp hearts, vanilla yogurt (use a dairy-free version to make a vegan smoothie bowl), frozen peaches, and almond milk. Mix in a blueberry peach swirl, and top the smoothie bowl with your favorite toppings, like peach slices, raspberries, and coconut whipped cream. (Want more healthy bowls? Pitaya Unicorn Smoothie Bowl

Makes 1 smoothie bowl


For the base:

1 pitaya smoothie pack (100g)

½ cup almond milk

1 frozen banana

½ cup frozen peaches

1 tbsp hemp hearts

¾ of an individual vanilla yogurt cup (regular, dairy-free or Greek all work)

½ tsp vanilla extract

For the swirl:

¼ cup frozen blueberries

½ cup frozen peaches

¼ cup almond milk

Remaining vanilla yogurt cup

Optional toppings: peach slices, raspberries, blueberries, shredded coconut, coconut whipped cream, mango


  1. Combine the all pitaya smoothie ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender. Pour into a bowl.
  2. Combine all swirl ingredients until smooth. Mix into the smoothie bowl.
  3. Add your favorite toppings of choice, and enjoy immediately.

Nutrition stats for smoothie (no toppings): 430 calories, 5g fat, 1g saturated fat, 79g carbs, 11g fiber, 52g sugar (all natural sugars), 21g protein
